Our December 3rd production of the “Night Shift Before Christmas” played to a less than sold-out crowd, but it was a merry crowd.
Set in a 1950’s-style diner, the production was narrated by Flo, a retiring waitress at the Night Shift. She tells of the night, long ago, when Jesus was born in Bethlehem and how it impacted all the characters – both the regulars and the visitors – that stopped in at the Night Shift.
After the production, we heard about the Annie Project from Zona Gutzwiller and Iris Harris. Then Kari Roth sang a breathtaking rendition of “Here With Us” and we closed with some sing-along classics.
We raised enough money to fund the next stage in our project! And, we’re already planning for next year.
And all of this, we leave in the Master’s hands.
