It’s hard not to think about all the people who don’t have hearth or home this holiday season. I’ve been living in a house with electric, radiator heat and it’s been miserably cold. And every time I start to think about how miserably cold it is, I remind myself about those people who don’t even have four walls, who fear losing their children, and who have mental health issues along with the cold and hunger they live with every day.
Father, forgive us for our self-focused lives!
Please live in the blessing of the season and cherish all that you have.
And all of this, we leave in the Master’s hands.
